High Resolution Digital Elevation Model (HRDEM) Mosaic at 1-meter resolution from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). Indexed from the `hrdem-mosaic-1m` collection of the NRCan Data Cube STAC API (geo.ca).

**Source & method:** The HRDEM Mosaic merges many acquisition projects into a single continuous surface (newer data replaces older where they overlap). The 1-meter mosaic corresponds to higher-density airborne **lidar** (average nominal pulse density ≥ 2 pts/m²), from which both terrain (DTM) and surface (DSM) models are derived. Hillshades are derived products.

**Products:** DTM (bare earth) and DSM (first surface), plus derived hillshades where available.

**Resolution:** 1 m ground sample distance.

**Coordinate reference:** NAD83(CSRS) / Canada Atlas Lambert (EPSG:3979); orthometric elevations in meters on CGVD2013 (EPSG:6647).
